The renowned publisher has welcomed Ben Brinkman from the creators of Apex Legends to oversee the development team at their internal studio, which is currently crafting the anticipated third-person action-packed title known as this innovative game.
Brinkman takes on the role of studio head at the development studio following the exit of former leader the ex-Sledgehammer Games executive, who was reportedly let go due to Project Ethos' disappointing unveiling last autumn.
Recently, the company's top executive a key figure informed staff about this strategic move through an official communication, which highlighted that early feedback sessions had indicated the need for a clearer direction.
Ismailer stated that the team is now overhauling the project with a refreshed vision, aiming to better meet player expectations.
The news mirrors a comparable step taken by the publisher in August, when they hired Rod Fergusson from the Diablo team to contribute to the BioShock development group.

Brinkman currently holds the role of executive producer and production lead at Respawn Entertainment for their flagship title. Brinkman previously worked at major gaming companies in various production roles on the Call of Duty series, and, before that, had assignments at 2K and Electronic Arts.
The upcoming game was announced in last year alongside a community playtest. Then, the developers portrayed the title as a "no-cost, third-person perspective roguelike hero shooter and an innovative evolution on the genre."
